Bangladesh's Political Chaos: Conspiracy Games and Future Apprehensions
Bangladesh today is immersed in a deep anarchy.
Every day we get reports of bloodshed, massacres, and inexplicable student clashes. But this anarchic situation is just a normal social chaos? Or is it a planned conspiracy?
There is a saying in English, “thriving on chaos”. Looking at the situation around us, it seems that the current ruling group is walking on this path. In the name of democracy, elections, and good governance, the interim government is basically trying to stay in power by misleading the people. The dramatic attempt at elections is indeed a well-planned conspiracy.
The Police, Impunity, and the Legitimacy of Anarchy
Discussions about the role of the police are now on every table. It is said that the police are afraid to come to work. But why? The fear of the police is actually the sole fault of the ruling class. Absurd ordinances such as impunity, which prohibit prosecution of police killings, legitimized a form of anarchy.
You say, "Police should handle the situation without weapons." Is it a janitor's job? Is the police just a stick of your power? Where is the justice when the police are attacked in various police stations of the country, weapons are looted, and they are burnt to death? Human life is precious to everyone—be it the police, the crowd or the students.
But what is the real purpose behind this conspiracy politics? Staying in power, turning the country into a highly dysfunctional state, and dreaming of establishing an Islamic caliphate by empowering extremist groups.
Signs of a planned conspiracy
In the history of Bangladesh, conspirators have never had a good fate. From Mirzafar to Khandaqar Mushtaq, every chapter of Gaddar teaches us that conspirators fall into their own trap and perish.
But the most terrible thing is that this planned chaos is pushing the country towards a terrible danger. Radical organizations such as Jamaat, Hizb ut Tahrir, Ansarullah Bangla Team, and Hefazat are gaining strength. With their help, the plan to turn the country into an Islamic caliphate state is clear as day.
People power: the only way out
But our history says that the people of this country have never bowed down to injustice. The language movement of 1952, the liberation war of 1971, or the mass movement of 1990—in every chapter, people's power has broken the conspiracies of rulers. Today will be no exception.
No matter how much you plot, the wheel of history keeps turning. Those who are involved in conspiracy today will one day fall into their own trap and perish. Bangladesh is an independent country, and its people are always ready to protect their rights.
