Conflict Between Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and  BD Interim Government: Power Struggle or Policy Dispute?

Following the formation of Bangladesh's new interim government, tension has risen between the anti-discrimination student movement and the government.

Although the students had supported the government initially, their leaders are now protesting certain policy decisions, especially the appointment of new advisors whose values reportedly clash with their principles. Social media protests and calls for action signal frustration with unmet promises.

While advisors like Asif Mahmud recognize the tension, they attribute it more to ideological differences than to any power struggle.
